Supervision Skills 1: Essentials of supervision
10 October 2018
This workshop provides a comprehensive introduction to the theory and practice of supervision and aims to facilitate exploration and understanding of what supervision can be.
Completion of this series of four workshops confers eligibility to apply for entry onto the Society's Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS) via the approved training route. The register is designed to recognise psychologists with special expertise in supervision. Completion of the series does not satisfy the supervision training requirements for BPS Qualifications. The workshops are spread out to allow delegates time for reflection and practice, and should be attended sequentially. Feedback from previous delegates has stressed how valuable this course has been for their development as supervisors, and as supervisees.
Please allow enough time between workshops for reflection and practice. You must attend all four workshops sequentially. You need to be already supervising to attend workshop 4.
