Expert Witness 3: Court room evidence 12 July 2018 Presenting evidence in court is the culmination of the work carried out by psychologists in their role as an Expert Witness. This workshop focuses on the importance of presenting Expert Witness Testimony following the submission of the Expert Report. Pre-court procedures will be considered and the Meetings of Experts discussed in detail. Attendees are taken through the court process and shown techniques, via training video, used by the legal profession to undermine expert testimony. Attendees will have the opportunity to practice their own presentation in court by working in small groups and receiving feedback. This training is in a small group environment to assist psychologists to learn how to present their existing knowledge at its best in legal settings.
